The state government, through the Johor Talent Development Council (JTDC), is committed to producing a skilled workforce among the youth to meet the needs of the industry, in line with the establishment of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). With the offering of a premium salary starting at RM4,000, this presents an attractive incentive for the younger generation to enter high-quality employment sectors.

JS-SEZ is expected to become a high-impact investment magnet and is projected to create about 100,000 job opportunities across 10 key sectors. This will provide broad opportunities for talented and skilled workers from Johor to meet the demands and needs of the growing industry. As a strategic initiative, it also demonstrates the state government’s efforts to drive sustainable economic development and enhance the competitiveness of the workforce at the international level.
